In this first article, we’ll look at the first two weeks of the AAF season.
Players are listed with their last AFL team, 2018 is assumed unless otherwise noted.
Atlanta Legends
Dwayne Hollis (DB, Philadelphia Soul) - Recovered a muffed punt in week 1. Recorded 1 tackle in week 2.
Malachi Jones (WR, Albany Empire, 2018 Wide Receiver and Rookie of the year awards) - Targeted 6 times in week 1 without a reception. Caught 3 passes for 37 yards and a TD in week 2.
Birmingham Iron
Joe Powell (DB, Baltimore Brigade) - Solo tackle in Week 2.
Kitt O'Brien (G, Cleveland 2014) - No stats recorded.
Memphis Express
Josh Jasper (K, New Orleans 2014) - 0/1 on FG in week 1. 2/2 on FG in week 2.
Orlando Apollos
Jordan McCray (C, Baltimore Brigade) - On the field and caused a penalty on a kick in week 2.
Earl Okine (DE, 2014 Orlando Predators) - 3 tackles and 2 QB hits in week 1. 2 tackles and a QB hit in week 2.
San Antonio Commanders
Darius Prince (WR, Philadelphia Soul) - Has not had any recorded stats in the first two weeks.
Salt Lake Stallions
Nick Truesdell (TE, 2016 Portland Steel) - 3 receptions for 23 yards and a TD in week 1. 2 receptions for 7 yards in week 2.
San Diego Fleet
