Even the league leading defense could not stop the Soul Saturday night, in fact, the Valor looked under duress most of the game. Quarterback Sean Brackett completed 23 of 37 passes for 216 yards and four touchdowns, he was also sacked three times and picked off twice. Most of the Washington wide-outs were held in check as well, Greg Carr to just 31 yards and one touchdown and Charles McClain was held scoreless for just the second time this season. Veteran receiver TT Toliver stood out, two touchdowns and 82 yards on five receptions, in the process he became just the third player in professional football history to amass 16,000 receiving yards, and the first in Arena Football history to do so.

Collectively the Soul scored 10 touchdowns, QB Dan Raudabaugh threw nine of those, completing over 86% of his passes for 330 yards to five different receivers, a performance that won him MVP of the Game. Offensive Player of the Game and wide receiver Sean Kauleinamoku torched the Valor secondary the entire game, recording the fourth 4 touchdown game of his career on 10 receptions and 126 yards.
