TSN2 Will Broadcast Arena Football League Games North of the Border

ArenaBowl returns to TSN family for first time since 2007.
Arena Football League fans in Canada were surprised to see the Week 8 Spokane Shock vs. Los Angeles KISS game being broadcast on TSN2 with no prior announcement. This was the first AFL broadcast on a TSN channel since 2007 when a 10-game slate was broadcast on the now discontinued TSN-Alternate channel.
I have had contact with TSN’s parent company, Bell Media, to inquire if there are any other games scheduled. Fortunately for fans, last week’s matchup will not be the only game broadcast for the remainder of the 2014 season.
TSN2 will be broadcasting five more games this season. The three regular season games will highlight the stretch run to the playoffs. There will be two playoff games shown as well, including ArenaBowl XXVII.
