Grieb, Floyd and Burks receive ArenaFan Online Week 10 honors

Offensive Player of the Week: Mark Grieb threw for 361 yards and a SaberCats record nine touchdown passes to lead San Jose to a 61-49 win over division rival Arizona Rattlers. Grieb completed 26 of 37 pass attempts to five different receivers, but his favorite targets were Ben Nelson and James Roe, who he hit for five and four touchdowns, respectively. Grieb, in his ninth AFL season and eighth with San Jose, has the highest career passer efficiency rating in AFL history at 124.02, was named the AFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2002, and was the Offensive Player of the Game in ArenaBowl XVIII (2004).
Other players considered for the ArenaFan Online Week Ten Offensive Player of the Week were John Dutton (Colorado) and Ben Nelson (San Jose).
Defensive Player of the Week: Rashad Floyd intercepted two Nashville passes, had seven tackles and a pass breakup, healping the Colorado Crush to a 77-47 victory over the Kats. Floyd, who is in his fifth AFL season and third with the Crush, also earned this award in Week 3.
Other players considered for the ArenaFan Online Week Ten Defensive Player of the Week were Tramain Jones (Tampa Bay), Steve Konopka (Las Vegas), Duke Pettijohn (Dallas), and Henry Taylor (Orlando).
Two-Way Player of the Week: Dialleo Burks had nine catches for 83 yards and one touchdown on offense, one interception for seven yards and one assist on defense, two kickoff returns for eight yards and one touchdown on special teams to help the Dallas Desperados to a 51-30 win over the Columbus Destroyers. Burks is in his fifth AFL season and third with Dallas.
