Dolezel, Jerald Brown, and Bush receive ArenaFan Online Week 8 honors

Offensive Player of the Week: Clint Dolezel threw a record-tying 11 touchdown passes in the Dallas Desperados 87-62 win over the Orlando Predators. Dolezel was already a co-holder of the record, first set by Aaron Garcia. Dolezel was an efficient 24-of-30 passing for 353 yards, completing passes to six different receivers, including six touchdown passes to fellow nominee Terrill Shaw. Dolezel has earned the ArenaFan Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Other players considered for the ArenaFan Online Week Eight Offensive Player of the Week were John Fitzgerald (Austin) and Terrill Shaw (Dallas).
Defensive Player of the Week: Jerald Brown had two interceptions for 16 yars and one touchdown to help the Columbus Destroyers limit the Philadelphia Soul offense in a 53-20 victory. Brown also had 2.5 total tackles in the game. He is in his third year in the AFL, having also played for New York and Arizona. .
Other players considered for the ArenaFan Online Week Eight Defensive Player of the Week were Rober' Freeman (Nashville), Tremain Jones (Tampa Bay), Damon Mason, Austin), Joe Minucci (Nashville), David Saunders (Columbus), and Antuan Simmons (Los Angeles).
Two-Way Player of the Week: Josh Bush had three receiving touchdowns on 3 catches for 36 yards on offense, had a game-high 7.5 tackles, two pass breakups and an interception return on defense to assist the Grand Rapids Rampage to a 59-49 win over the visiting Utah Blaze. Bush also added one kickoff return for six yards. Bush is in his third season with the Rampage. This is his first ArenaFan Online Two-Way player of the Week award, having been nominated several times throughout the 2006 season.
